My wheels have a white haze on them even after I polish them.  What causes that? And how can I prevent it?

That white haze on aluminum wheels is one of two things, 1) it is the actual color of the aluminum or 2) it is oxidation beneath the wheels surface.  To remove that haze, assuming it is not the wheels actual color, a buffing wheel is recommended, or even light sanding followed by an application of Metal Gloss.  (If you are not experienced with sanding, do not do it yourself, but call an expert). 

Does Master Formula Products remove water spots?

With a proper application of Master Formula’s Metal Gloss, most water spots should be easily removed.                                             

On a very rare occasion, water can do permanent damage to your wheels.  However, an application of Metal Gloss can still improve the water damage and give you a more Xtreme Gloss that previously displayed.

Remember, after you achieve that Xtreme Gloss with Metal Gloss, be sure to apply Sealer Gloss to protect against future water spotting.

Can Metal Gloss be used with a buffer wheel?

Absolutely!  You can use Metal Gloss with all types of buffing wheels, from high speed to drills. Just be cautious when using a buffing wheel to make sure you know what you are doing. 

Here’s a tip, keep the wheel moist with a spray bottle of water while using the buffing wheel, it will make the process much easier.

My wheels are very valuable; will Master Formula products harm or scratch my wheels in any way?

No.  Our products do not use harmful abrasives and are safe to use on all metals.

How difficult is Metal Gloss to apply to my wheels?

Master Formula’s Metal Gloss and Sealer Gloss application process is easy and effortless.

How do I apply Metal Gloss and Sealer Gloss?

Metal Gloss rubs on and rubs off in seconds leaving behind only a flawless Xtreme Gloss.  The steps are as easy as 1, 2, 3…

1.  Just apply a small amount onto a towel.
2.  Rub the metal surface until it feels glassy and smooth.  (All metals will release a black substance called "boxite").
3.  There's no need to let it dry.  Using a clean, dry cloth, simply wipe the surface clean.  You will discover a beautiful high gloss!

After achieving that Xtreme Gloss with Metal Gloss, apply a protective coat of Sealer Gloss effortlessly...

1.  Apply a generous amount onto your metal surface.
2.  Allow ample drying time until it turns to a powder (approximately 5 minutes).
3.  Simply wipe off the powder reside to reveal an Xtreme Gloss that is now protected and now perfectly easy to maintain!

Does Metal Gloss remove/repel dog and cat urine?

Yes!  Simply apply Metal Gloss to the stain and rub for 30-60 seconds and the stain should be removed.  To repel dog and cat urine, be sure to apply a coat of Sealer Gloss to the wheel as directed.   

Is Sealer Gloss safe to use on my exhaust pipes?  Will it burn off?

No, the Sealer Gloss will not burn off, it is heat resistant and perfectly safe on pipes and all other engine metals.

When I polish my aluminum wheels, I get a heavy black residue that’s hard to remove.  What is that residue and how do I prevent it?

That heavy residue is the oxidation from the aluminum.  With most polishes that use oil bases, this reside is difficult to remove. Master Formula is a water base, thus easily removed.
